How would you define your style?

It's been called 'Wonderland Burlesque' before, but there's certainly some piratical influence lurking around my wardrobe...

What is your favourite item of clothing?

It's a close call between my Turquoise Sequined Fishtail Evening-Gown, my Blue & Gold Brocade Corset or my Black Satin Tailcoat. I can't possibly chose.

I should wear them all at once.

What is said favourite item of clothing most suited to?

Being generally fabulous.

Share a fabulous or just plain entertainging style story!

The first time I wore my red 'rah-rah dress' out, I was beeped at by roughly 15 cars. It does the ego good :')

Who are your style icons?

Singer and musician Emilie Autumn, the lovely Dita Von Teese and, really, anyone who manages to be simultaneously individual and outstandingly stylish.

Which song could have been written for you?

Katy Perry's Who Am I Living For?

What is your favourite fairytale?

Ooh, such a tough one. I love The Princess and The Pea.

Or Sleeping Beauty :3

Favourite word?

Right now? 'Spurious' because I've only just become aware of its existence.

Dream trolley-dash location?

FairyGothMother, Camden. It - is - BEAUTIFUL.

Dream location for your future Vogue shoot?

It most definitely would have to be London Bridge. Though I suppose it would be quite troublesome to close it off - so failing that, a lovely stately home.

If you could hire one designer as your personal tailor, who would it be?

Jovani. No question.

Signiture Scent?

Kylie Minogue's 'Darling'

Which era would you most like to live in?

Heck, I'd give 'em all a whirl.

Most recent purchase?

Clothing? A cream, 5-tiered lace skirt, which I'm sure will double as a wonderful petticoat.

If you were a food, what would you be?

If I weren't a cupcake, I'd be most disappointed!

And finally... who is the love of your life (so far)?

Myself - Because if you don't love you, why should anyone else?

We're all made of Stardust...

... and isn't that amazing?

Marilyn Monroe said; "All I want is to be loved, for myself and for my
talent."

But in the end, in't that what we all want?
To have people see us.

To have strangers in the street look at you and see something - a spark perhaps - that makes them want to know you.
To be inequivocably loved by those you love, for being You.
To be That Person at the party who just glitters in the crowd 'til everyone is drawn to your shine.

Most of all, I think what we want is to be able to look back once we've reached the end, and to think;

I trailed a blaze across that person's sky.

Roll Up, Roll Up ~

Isn't New Years Eve fabulous?

It doesn't matter what you're doing - house party, street party, night in, night out, friends or family - it's just a spectacular night. It's just made of glitter and fireworks and the plastic cups you always get at parties.

And so we welcomed 2011. It's only 16 days in, and already the year is taking shape in front of me. Just as well, because this year is the year of doing things. Things I said I'd do but didn't; things I'd never thought of doing before; things I made excuses not to do.

  • Get piercings. At least 3.
  • Redecorate my bedroom to suit Now-Me, rather than 14-year-old-Me
  • Use all of the canvases I got for christmas - and be proud of the results.
  • Not be afraid to get What I Want out of a relationship.
  • Holiday with a brilliant friend. Even if it's still in Britain.
  • Buy a pair of Bordello shoes, for no other reason than because they're beautiful.

[I'm serious about the shoes. Have you seen Bordello's heels?]

16 days, and it's taking definite shape.

That guy became My Guy.

I managed to convince my reclusive hermit-esque gang of misfits to Do Something, and it turned into a good night [Our waiter in Pizza Hut deserves a medal for his patience, sheer brilliance, and inability to be phased by 6 young women shamelessly flirting with him].

I impressed my Photography teacher with my Photography.

But of course, life is never all roses.

I also got let down by a friend. Let down in a big way.

Y'know, that one friend that you hope never lets you down? The one that, if they did let you down, it would just break your heart. But you love that friend, so you try to get past it - kind of like Couples Therapy, I suppose. Time apart, you suggest. A little space, to remind you both that you like having each other around.

So much so that you don't let each other down like that again.

But, C'est la vie! And c'est la 2011... thus far at least.

Well, what can you do - except take it a day at a time.

Love and beautiful shoes ~
